IRA Lab Staff

Jeonghyun (Annie) Kim, Ph.D.

Director of IRA Lab

Dr. Kim obtained her PhD in School of Communication and Information at Rutgers University. She joined the Department of Information Science as an assistant professor in Fall 2010.

Dr. Kim has various areas of research interest ranging from human information behavior and interaction, data curation, and digital libraries, to convergence issues surrounding libraries, archives, and museums. She has published numerous papers in journals including Journal of the American Society for Information Science and Technology, Library and Information Science Research, Information Research, and International Journal of Digital Curation.

Dr. Kim F. Nimon

Director of the IRA Lab

Dr. Nimon is an Associate Professor at the University of Texas at Tyler. Her areas of expertise are in workforce development (human resource development, employee engagement, corporate chaplaincy programs) and analytical methodologies (applied general linear model analyses, statistical software programming, measurement and evaluation). She has published extensively in refereed journals such as American Journal of Evaluation, Frontiers in Psychology, Human Resources Quarterly, Learning and Performance Quarterly, Multivariate Behavioral Research, and, as well as book chapters. She currently is the principal investigator for grants awarded by Everman ISD, FISH Technologies, Inc., and is external evaluator for a National Science Foundation grant. Dr. Nimon has made over 50 refereed presentations for international and national scholarly organizations and was recently award the Cutting Edge Award by the Academy of Human Resource Development. She also holds patents from both the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and Canada Intellectual Property Office. Dr. Nimon holds leadership positions in professional organizations such as American Educational Research Association, Academy of Human Resource Development, and the Southwestern Educational Research Association. She also serves as an incoming Associate Editor for Human Resource Development Quarterly and is the Director of the Information for Research and Analysis Lab at the University of North Texas. Dr. Nimon received the PhD in Applied Technology and Performance Improvement from UNT in 2007 and the PhD in Educational Research, also from UNT, in 2013. Her M.S. in Organizational Leadership is from Regent University and B.S. in Computer Science is from the University of Arkansas.

Paeng

Putthachat (Paeng) Angnakoon, Ph.D, M.B.A.

Research Consultant

Dr. Angnakoon obtained her Ph.D. at the University of North Texas (UNT) from the Department of Learning Technologies with a major in Applied Technology and Performance Improvement and a minor in Management Science. Dr. Angnakoon received her BBA in Marketing from Assumption University and an MBA from University of North Texas. Dr. Angnakoon has been a graduate research assistant and a teaching assistant in the School of Merchandising and Hospitality Management and the School of Library and Information Science. Dr. Angnakoon is currently a lecturer at Faculty of Learning Sciences and Education, Thammasat University, Thailand. 


Eric R. Schuler, Ph.D.


Research Consultant


Eric obtained his Ph.D. in Experiment Psychology in the Department of Psychology. He received his BA in English with a focus in Irish Literature and Psychology from the University of Connecticut and an MS in Psychology from the University of North Texas. Eric has been a graduate research assistant and a teaching fellow in the Department of Psychology. His research interests include assessing correlates of posttraumatic stress disorder symptoms, meaning making systems, and best practice methods in quantitative methods.
