Information Research and Analysis (IRA) Lab
The mission of the Department of Information Science’s Information Research and Analysis (IRA) Lab is to foster innovation and advancement in design, analytics, and the execution of high caliber research. The IRA lab strives to bring cutting-edge rigor and insight to the research process and methodologies to the Department of Information Science and to other College of Information (COI) departments.
In addition, the IRA Lab:
- Develops and maintains an online knowledge base for research and analysis methodology to the broader research community.
- Supplies COI faculty, staff, and students with remote access to high performance computers and various software tools for performing research.
- Provides methodological guidance, expertise, and technical support to assist COI faculty, staff, and students to make informed research decisions on collecting, organizing, and analyzing data for research.
The IRA Lab will be closed during Spring Break (3/13/2017 to 3/17/2017). The IRA Lab will re-open on 3/20/2017 during the normal lab hours.
